Mercedes Duo to Take 2017 Tires to The Track Next Week

Mercedes has announced that both Hamilton and Rosberg will be testing the 2017-spec tires during the teams' two-day testing event at Barcelona next week.
Pirelli is pushing for current drivers from top level teams to try out the tires, but of the the three teams testing the tires - Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari, only Vettel and Raikkonen have tested them. So far, all the testing done by Mercedes was the work of Pascal Wherlein, and Red Bull has used former Red Bull protege Sebastian Buemi. Red Bull is still to announce drivers for any upcoming tests.
The testing will be Wednesday and Thursday next week, with Hamilton taking them for a spin Wednesday and Rosberg Thursday.
