F1 Correspondent- An Update

Dear Readers,

I'm sure it has not gone unnoticed that we have seized article writing on this website. A combination of many factors is the reason for this.

Firstly, as the new season has begun our focus has once again been centered around our successful social media accounts. In some cases, since the start of the new season, our follower numbers have doubled, something which has completely amazed us. But with more followers comes more pressure to provide them with the daily content they want to see. It's very difficult for some of us to focus on the progression of this website when incredible things are happening on other forms of social media.

Secondly, as a team, we are fairly young in age. We still have to cope with the pressures of education and getting into the working world whilst managing our respective sites. The website has taken more effort and time than we previously imagined leaving us little time to enjoy our own lives aside from work and school.

Thirdly, we have been experiencing some troubles with the platform on which we have built the website. The 'Wix' servers are fairly unreliable, something which is very annoying when you want to write articles and update the website.

However, this is by no means the end. We still want to expand the small empire we have built up on the internet and this is still the best way in which we can do that (in our opinions). To gain popularity, we want to get our own domain name so we are one of the go to websites for your motorsport updates. We want to increase the number of writers so we can compete with the platforms who are able to constantly supply you with news. As we are selecting these new recruits we want to find people that have motorsport knowledge aside from F1 so we can report on other series. Its ambitious but we truly believe in this concept.

At this point, we are still in the early stages of making this dream a reality. We are brainstorming names as your'e reading this and one of our top editors is going to get working on our own custom design as soon as some time frees up. So I, along with my colleagues ask you, our readers, to bare with us as we take it to the next stage, a stage when we really can provide you with the service we promised from the start.

Thank you,

F1Correspondent
