Weather Forecast for the upcoming Australian GP

The first Grand Prix of the season is finally here! Weather forecast suggests that we will have a hot weekend, just like it is usual in the Australian GP. But we will still might see some grey clouds in the horizon.

Friday is going to be pretty hot - 26 Celsius (79 Fahrenheit). There is a 18% chance of rain from 21:00-00:00 (local time), but no one is going to be driving at that time, obviously.

The wind is only 4m/s, so it shouldn't cause problems to the drivers who will be driving their cars in the actual Free Practice programme for the first time.

In Saturday, we might see some rain drops on the track. The temperature will rise up to 27 Celsius (80 Fahrenheit), but there is a 11% chance of rain during the hours of Free Practice 3 and Qualifying sessions. The speed of wind increases to 6m/s, but this shouldn't be a problem for drivers to keep their cars on the track too.

And finally, the Race Day. The temperature should rise to 27 Celsius (80 Fahrenheit) during the race. There is 0% chance of rain, so we should see a sunny Australian Grand Prix. The wind drops back to 4m/s, so we won't be able to blame the wind for the spins, which are predicted to happen a lot in the first race.

So, that is our Weather Forecast for the Australian Grand Prix. We are expecting to see an eventful race, as there are a lot of question marks ahead of the race. Who is going out on top? Ferrari, Mercedes or Red Bull? Or maybe we will have a new top runner? We will find that out very soon.
