Japanese GP Banter Report

As it's a back-to-back weekend, the Japanese GP started one week after the controversial Malyasian GP and there's still many things to discuss.
Well as millions of F1 fans, I missed FP1 due to sleep (and nearly the whole race).
Anyways the highlight of FP1 was Kimi exploring the Circuit and some crashes. One highlight was Jenson Button's post on Instagram:
The press conference was boring as always so Lewis decided to create banterous Snapchat Stories, but I don't think Kimi liked it :/
Qualifying
One surprise was the knockout of Jenson Button (if I would've said that last year, I would've been described as an idiot). McLaren made some seerious progress this year and but out of all JB didn't make it to Q2 on home soil, but his teammate did.
One disappointment in Q2 were Massa and Bottas in P11 and P12. The Williams seems to be very weak in Suzuka compared to last year. Surprisingly the two Haas, who have in 2 weeks their home party, made it to Q3. Ferrari is now for a while back as the best of the rest as they finished in P3 and P4, but surprise surprise... both Ferrari's suffered a grid penalty.
Race
If you ask someone about the highlights of the race, I'm pretty sure he'll mention Hamilton's bottled start. Possibly the one which has decided the championship.
One nice fact is, that no one has retired or has been disqualified which is the second time in a row in Japan and the 5th time ever. Even last year with Maldonado!! Anyways we found out that Vettel has a big love for blue flags.
And finally: a question. Guess who won the F1 Driver of the day award kids. Guess. Yeah you guessed it right, Max Verstappen, again! I mean, Hamilton recovered from P9 to P3 and Jenson Button made an awesome GP.... These Max Verstappen Fans are worse than the Rio Haryanto Fans.
Last but not least congratulations to Mercedes for winning the constructors. I was reaaaally surprised..kinda.

1. Hamilton needs to practise starts
2. Blue flags need to be waved
3. Make an alarm!!!!!!
