Meet the VJM10

Today, the 22nd of February, Force India has formally revealed their 2017 challenger, the VJM10.

The Unveiling for the Silverstone based team comes as the third car to be officially revealed for the season as fans are finally able to get a true glimpse of the near future of Formula 1. The team has gone for a fairly radical design with many elements to their front wings and the iconic 'shark fin' from seasons' past.

In terms of design, Force India have taken a slightly different approach compared to Sauber and Renault's releases with some components such as the shark fin and the front nose cone looking quite different.

Force India has also gone for something else we have seen in the past in their stair-stepped nose piece the begins right as the suspension components that also appear very re-worked in comparison to the VJM9 of last year.

The team finished fourth in constructor standings last year and this year have a very solid chance to compete for podium finishes and possibly a Grand Prix victory, depending obviously on the performance of their competitors. We will see the on track results in very little time!
